RATHKEALE travellers
The Rathkeale traveller-traders came home to County Limerick in fine style this Christmas. The tiny village was overwhelmed by the influx of expensive SUVs and luxury cars that made it look like the Old Trafford players' car park. We ran a story in the Sunday World about the cars and how some of the Rathkealers make their money. Read it here.

ReplyDeleteAs an Englishman and antiques dealer living in Shropshire, England, I have many business contacts and close friends in the Rathkeale Traveller Community.
ReplyDeleteMost are hardworking and decent people, so it pains me to hear such misrepresentation borne out of nothing short of envy and jealousy.
Perhaps if those who complain so much, got on with a little effort and work, they too may profit from it as the Travellers do.

ReplyDeleteI am not a traveller but I have the utmost respect for a community who withhold the christian catholic values and it is small minded jelouse people who begrudge the money and happiness these fine people have . Good luck and god bless to you all .
