Cop killer suspect stays out of reach in the United States

A man suspected by Gardaí to have been closely involved with the gang who shot Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe turned up at a wedding in New York state last week.
Going on the run can be an expensive and difficult undertaking for anyone trying to avoid the authorities.
This guy, however, has been able to link up with friend and family who are part of the Irish traveller community based in the United States.
The support provided pretty much means he can stay out of the Irish jurisdiction and the Gardaí for as long as he wants.
The Sunday World managed to catch up with him at Newburgh, New York and then at Parsippanny, New Jersey.
No doubt, the people at last weekend’s wedding won’t be too happy with the attention he has managed to attract.
